Could the best Chinese restaurant in Atlantic City be in a sprawling casino? Noodles of the World makes a good case.
When visiting Atlantic City, I’m more likely to explore the boardwalk and the surrounding streets than the casinos. Still, once in a while, one of those sprawling towers of luxury lures me in with a genuinely must-visit destination. That’s the case for the Borgata, Atlantic City’s most luxe casino resort. Located apart from the strip, it’s highly acclaimed for its massive gaming, entertaining, and dining options.
One of those dining destinations is Noodles of the World, an authentic noodle bar that might be the best Chinese restaurant in Atlantic City. It’s always worth visiting, but it’s especially worth it during National Noodle Month. That’s right: March is the time to celebrate those stretchy, doughy treats we all love, and there’s no better place to do it than at a restaurant that knows how to pack them with flavor and texture.
The Borgata cuts an imposing figure across the Atlantic City skyline, and that’s far from the only reason this glittering resort is known as one of the best destinations in the Jersey Shore’s most famous city.
Whether you’re here to play the slots, see a show, or relax at the pool and spa, you’re guaranteed to be overwhelmed by the number of options, including the dining destinations, which run the gamut from casual to luxury.
One of my favorites is Noodles of the World, also known as N.O.W. This charming noodle bar, located only feet from the gaming floor, specializes in noodle dishes from across Asia, such as soups and stir-fries, prepared in front of you.
The menu is always changing and will likely feature must-try specials for National Noodle Month. Noodles of the World is ideal whether you want a taste of luxury or an affordable but filling lunch.
It’s not just the noodles that get extra care here. The smoked Chinese-style meats are top-notch, and the duck and pork are mouthwatering.
March will still be pretty nippy at the shore, so it’s the perfect time to indulge in one of the restaurant’s signature soups, including its wonton noodle soup or famous Kyoto udon with chicken and shrimp.
Have you visited Noodles of the World at the Borgata? If not, tell a friend about the offerings and kick off National Noodle Month with a bang. If you’re visiting, check out the website of the Borgata Hotel, Casino, and Spa and the Facebook page of this Atlantic City resort, or book your stay for a weekend to remember. You’ll also find the best buffet in New Jersey at the Borgata.
