Summer is just around the corner, and that's when my thoughts always trend towards the Jersey Shore. Of course, I'm not alone; this is when all the shore's best towns come alive. It's a fantastic place to go for attractions, sunbathing, boardwalk fun, and of course, fishing! Many shore towns have some incredible fishing spots, so finding one where you're not in direct competition with everyone else on the pier is worth its weight in gold. If you've got a big family with an interest in fun on the water, or a group of friends who want access to the best fishing and crabbing spots, have I got a spot for you. Berkeley Township is home to a huge waterfront family home with some of the most unique decor I've ever seen, and it's only minutes from the water with ideal dock access. Berkeley Township is the best of both worlds—located on the Jersey Shore, but just far enough from the big shore towns to ensure some peace and quiet. That's what makes this destination one of my favorite vacation rentals in the state, but you'll need a crowd, unless you're fond of a ton of space! It sleeps up to 16 guests, and there's enough here to keep the entire clan occupied.

One of my favorite parts of this massive destination is that it features amenities I've never seen anywhere else. As soon as you climb the spiral staircase to the retro-chic second floor, you'll wind up in every teenager's (or teenager at heart's) dream: a mini-arcade right in your own temporary home! And if you head outside, the hot tub is great for relaxing as the sun goes down.

The entire place is gorgeous, and that goes for the bedrooms, too. There are nine beds in total, including a king-size, two queen-size, two bunk beds, and several pull-out couches. You'll be able to scatter the whole group around the spacious homestead, making sure no one feels crowded.

Exploring this place is like a little slice of heaven. From the rustic living room with a roaring fireplace to the garden-like feel of the central atrium, there's always a little nature here. And then, of course, there's the large sunroom that feels feet away from the water—because it is! This Airbnb offers peak dock space, and the area you're staying in is considered an ideal spot for reeling in the local catch and plucking fresh crabs out of the water.
