Four New Jersey restaurants were among 100 establishments included on OpenTable’s newest list of most romantic eateries.
NEW JERSEY — Four New Jersey eateries recently landed on OpenTable’s roundup of the Top 100 Romantic Restaurants in the United States for 2025.
OpenTable compiles its list of most romantic restaurants annually by analyzing more than 10 million diner reviews, along with diner ratings, reservation demand, and percentage of five-star reviews among other factors.
The result is a list of 100 eateries ranging from those that provide an intimate, laidback spot for couples to a vibrant atmosphere perfect for a double date.
In New Jersey, the following restaurants made the 2025 list:
- 618, Freehold
- Chart House Restaurant, Weehawken
- Franklinville Inn, Franklinville
- Il Mulino New York, Atlantic City
Located at 618 Park Ave. in Freehold, 618 boasts an overall rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars. Reviewers call it a “celebrated dining gem” in New Jersey and rave about “amazing food,” “phenomenal service” and a “vibrant atmosphere.” Noteworthy dishes include crab cakes, skirt steak and lobster risotto.
Chart House Restaurant, located on the waterfront at 1700 Harbor Blvd. in Weehawken, has an overall rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars. The restaurant offers stunning views of the New York City skyline and guests rave about memorable celebrations, attentive staff and accommodating dietary needs.
Located at 2526 Delsea Dr. in Franklinville, the Franklinville Inn also boasts an overall rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars. Reviewers say the restaurant consistently delivers an exceptional dining experience, with “fantastic food and service” as a hallmark.
Finally, Il Mulino New York, located in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, also has an overall rating of 4.9 out of 5 stars.
